Selector control consists of 4 % cross-linked agarose beads and is suitable as control resin for all Selector resins. It has been treated with the same activation and quenching chemistry that was used for preparation of GFP, GST, MBP, RFP and TagFP Selector Resins but is not charged with a single-domain antibody. Thus, it is suitable for pre-depletion of extracts or as a side-by-side specificity control for any of the Selector resins. If Selector control is applied as a specificity control of a chosen single-domain, antibody-charged Selector resin, it should be used under identical experimental conditions.
