Selector Resins consist of a 4% agarose coupled with a high-affinity, single-domain antibody for GFP, GST, MBP, RFP, or TagFP. The single-domain antibodies are covalently attached via a flexible linker onto the agarose, eliminating batch-to-batch variations and leakage of the antibodies during elution with SDS sample buffer.
Additionally, it is possible to efficiently immobilize derivatives of the mentioned peptide tags for example in immunoprecipitation experiments.
Selector Resins can be combined with various physiological or more stringent buffers. For fast and simple handling, the application of Mini Spin Columns is beneficial.
