StrepMAB-Immo conjugate

StrepMAB-Immo fluorescenct conjugates are murine, high-affinity monoclonal antibodies, which are especially suited for detection of Strep-tag®II and Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins in applications like ELISA, FACS, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry. The nearly irreversible binding is validated for fusion proteins carrying a C- or N-terminal Strep-tag®II providing an N-terminal extension by a SerAla linker (recombinant protein-SA-WSHPQFEK or SA-WSHPQFEK-recombinant protein). Proteins containing Strep-tag®II with N-terminal sequences other than SerAla are bound with reduced affinity in the cases tested so far. However, the Twin-Strep-tag® always contains the SerAla linker (WSHPQFEK-GGGS-GGGS-GGSA-WSHPQFEK).
StrepMAB-Immo is available as conjugate with different fluorescent dyes (DY-488, DY-549, DY-649).
The absorption/emission maxima of the fluorescent dyes are:
- DY-488: 493/518 nm
- DY-549: 550-560/575 nm
- DY-649: 655/676 nm
Please note: For detection of Strep-tag®II or Twin-Strep-tag® fusion proteins in western blots, the use of StrepMAB-Classic or Strep-Tactin® is recommended.
