Anti-hIFNα-IgG is a monoclonal antibody for human interferon α 2 (hIFN-α 2). It has been selected for its ability to efficiently neutralize the biological activity of hIFN-α 2.
This antibody reacts with hIFN-α 1, hIFN-α 2, hIFN-α 5, hIFN-α 8, hIFN-α 14, hIFN-α 16, hIFN-α 17 and hIFN-α 21.
It reacts very weakly with hIFN-α 4 and IFN-α 10.
It does not react with hIFN-α 6 or hIFN-α 7.
Anti-hIFNα-IgG was generated by recombinant DNA technology. It has been produced in CHO cells and purified by affinity chromatography.
