Control-IgA2 is a chimeric monoclonal antibody specific for E. coli β-galactosidase (β-Gal).
It was generated by combining the constant domains of the human IgA2 molecule with the murine variable regions of a monoclonal IgG antibody obtained from a mouse immunized with DNA encoding β-Gal.
This monoclonal antibody was produced in CHO cells and purified by affinity chromatography.
