Strep-Tactin® TACS Agarose ColumnIBA Lifescience Kontakt z doradcą
Strep-Tactin® TACS Agarose columns contain agarose macrobeads coated with the streptavidin variant Strep-Tactin®. A special crosslinking permits the use for cell isolation and depletion approaches. They were developed for column-based Traceless Affinty Cell Selection (Fab-TACS®/Nano-TACS®). In this approach, Fab fragments fused to a Twin-Strep-tag® (Fab-Streps) or nanobodies (Nano-Streps) are bound to Strep-Tactin® on the agarose matrix. After specifically capturing cells, Fab-/Nano-Streps are released from the Strep-Tactin® Agarose by biotin addition. The cells are eluted and ready for further downstream applications. The same principle is applicable for exosome isolation (Fab-TACS® for exosomes). Alternatively to Fab-Streps/Nano-Streps, it is possible to load columns with Twin-Strep-tagged, desthiobiotinylated or biotinylated antibodies (irreversible binding). This makes Strep-Tactin® TACS Agarose columns also suitable for negative cell selection or depletion approaches.
